Please go get one if over 50 years

Hi All -
Well, I did it - after being told I was "years overdue"............... I got a colonoscopy.- properly called Gastrointestinal Endoscopy..
Now, the Doctor and Nurses say I should do PR for them - I am here to tell you IT IS NOT SO BAD.
My "hint" - do NOT eat every much the day before you start the cleansing. I did not find ANY of it to be bad. Do NOT listen to folks who tell you bad stories about it. I was prepared for a bad day, but it was just fine.
AND, the actual day of the procedure, well the Nurses and Doctor were soooo efficient and pleasant. Then, they put you out, and you don't feel/know a thing. My friend was there when I awoke, and we went out to lunch, and then home. I did take a nap when I got home, but otherwise, it was a pleasant day.
And, they told me - I have a clean bill of health - no problems at all found. Sooo, that is a good thing.
Please, do not be like me, and avoid it because you have heard bad things - GO GET THE TEST DONE. You do need a "base line" from which the doctors can work in the future.
OK, go schedule one !!! I am very pleased that I did. I am praying your results are as nice as mine. ;o)
GET a MAMMOGRAM...............please

Hi to all - a reminder for all of you to please go and get a Mammogram. We are very excited to be back with this manufacturer. They were too busy last time, doing apparel for the OLYMPICS, so they could not fit us in - with our "small" order of one hundred Dozen bras !! Yes, that is 1200 sportsbras. A pretty big number for most of us, but pretty small for big manufacturers.

We HAVE decided to KEEP our production here in the USA. We LIKE to say "Proudly made in the USA". We did check in Thailand, and the prices were very reasonable, but, we really want to keep the economy going here in the USA. I hope others will do the same, and stop sending their production overseas.

Sooo, watch our website - there will be something NEW !!! Enjoy this beautiful weather.

Penny Jo
www.Esportsbra.com
Remember Memorial Day -

Remember WHY we celebrate Memorial Day this Monday.
It began back in 1868 to decorate the graves of Civil War Soldiers. Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War (it is celebrated near the day of reunification after the civil war), it was expanded after World War I to include American casualties of any war or military action.

Please remember our Soldiers. - and Thank them please, when you see them. Many things were discussed. We also checked out a few factories to maybe have the Bounce Free! sport bra produced abroad. However, we have decided that even though it would be cheaper to have them manufactured in Thailand, or even China, we feel strongly patriotic, and we will continue to have our Bounce Free! bras produced here in the United States. We are very proud of that, and do hope that many others are also.
While there, I did get chances to wear my Bounce Free! sportsbra. One day we rode horses down on the beach - galloped on the sand, and in the surf. Such fun - but glad I was wearing my bra. My mount was not the smoothest one of the group.
Then one day we went boating - again, glad I had it. Also, since it is so good looking, I could ride in "style and comfort" - and also get a tan.
We also rode for about 1/2 hour in a bumpy cart - pulled by two OXEN. The road was full of holes, so it was a bumpy ride.
Two different days we were there, we RODE ELEPHANTS. My oh my, is that interesting. When riding on their neck, it it relatively smooth, but, when you ride in the "seat" that is strapped to his back, and especially when he is going down hill, that is very ...... hmmmm...........
jarring, I guess is the best word. But, we rode in the jungles, and then got to ride down river on the elephants. Much fun !!

See the pictures...

Snowmobiling

Hi All -
Well, got to go snowmobiling this past week-end. The trails were hard and bumpy, and it reminded of the trail rides we used to do - in fact reminded me of the trip we took that prompted the "invention" of the Bounce Free! Sport bra. Oh my, how I used to hurt - up there - but, now, while wearing my Bounce Free! Sportsbra - well, now I remember all the gals who said to me "Wow, it really works".
The day was beautiful. We had a great time.
Anyone else out there snowmobiling ? Where are you riding ? What brand of sled do you ride ?
Well, byee for now. Everyone take care.
Penny Jo
Sport Bra? or yes, but, I've been gone.

Hi all -
sorry haven't gotten to the blog. Miss y'all. However: have just returned from Denver - My 1/2 sister was diagnosed with Lou Gerhigs disease
on Jan 7, so I flew out there to do what I could to help. Trip was very sad
- I saw her deteriorate in just the 7 days I was there. Very sad. They asked,
and I stayed a couple extra days, just to do what I could. Am so fortunate that
I was able to stay on. I got lots done for them - paid bills, organized piles
(funny - had just had friendTonya come over and help me with mine. Very funny),
called numerous people to come in and evaluate Susie and her condition - i.e a
physical therapist, occupational therapist, home health care folks, etc etc.
Found and ordered books re: ALS (Lou Gerhigs disease). Got her appointement
with the Head Doctor at the Respiratory Reaseach Hospital moved up, from Feb 4
to today (everyone said it couldn't be done - even the nurses there said "I
can't belive you got Dr. Makee to rearrange patients for you so he would see your
sister today"). I left, via taxi to the airport, from the doctors office.
Susie got a ride home in an ambulance - because hubby and I got her down
the stairs, in a wheelchair, to the car, but he couldn't get her UP the
stairs by himself. Again, I was glad to be able to stay and help.
Got
home late Tues and thought I had all day, plus 1/2 the next day - not
to be. I was so rattled when I was there, I lost track of time. Pam
called me Wed morning and said her Mom was soooo excited to go out to
dinner that night. I said "tonight too ? " Pam said, yes, you are leaving today!
Rats. Soooo much to do, and only hours to do it. (annual taxes for
business - and, they have changed the forms, etc == so have to learn
NEW stuff)
Oh, since I have been sort of the "care giver" for Pam's Mom and Dad
for the past couple of years, and "Dad" passed away a couple of months
ago - Pam and Rob (her hubby) gave me a trip to Hawaii. But, it
included me taking Gini ("Mom") from Spokane. But, she is a
sweetheart, and we are now in Hawaii - and it is wonderful. (esp.
after being snowed in for 36 days, and then in Denver, having more COLD
and SNOW.)
Not sure how it is going with sister in Denver. Her hubby called me at
4 a.m. the day after I left and said she had had a stroke and the
ambulance was there (again) taking her to the hospital. she has been
"in and out", We talk each day to keep m They are doing a traceotomy on Monday, so she can
(hopefully) breathe on her own. But it was sure hard for her to breath
when I was there. Very sad.
Enuf !~!!!!
Everyone purchase a Bounce Free! Sport bra - and make all of us very happy. lol lol
byeee for now. Gini is calling, and I have to help her get around. Byeeee.

Wow, what a Winter !

Wow, is this the Winter of 2009, or the Spring of 2009? or the late Winter of 2008 ??? We have so much snow here. We are in Spokane Washington, and I hear we have made the national news. It is Beautiful, but again, lots of snow. Our lane (driveway) to the office is flat, but 800 feet long - and, as the weather has warmed up a bit, people have been getting stuck in the snow for the past couple of days. Soooo, shovel, shovel, plow, plow. BUT, I do wear my Bounce Free! sportsbra when I get on the 4 wheeler and go out to plow. Boy, am I glad I have it. All that bump, bump, bump on the hard snow ! Well, that is why this sport bra was invented anyway - because of all the miles I rode on the snowmobile . The drag racing wasn't bad, because the track was usually groomed, but the miles we rode while I was "parts testing" for Northern Lites. Well, on ungroomed trails - it was brutal. Needed a really good sports bra.
But, now we have one, and I am happy when I am snow plowing. Looking forward to springtime, when I can wear it for mountain biking.
OK - out to plow snow. Wish y'all could see this road.
Happy Day to ya'
Penny Jo

HOW the Bounce Free! Sport Bra happened...........

Hi - they say Need is the Mother of Invention. Isn't that it??

Well, I was Drag racing snowmobiles, and parts testing for Northern Lites, a snowmobile fabrication company - and we rode 500 miles in 4 days - on ungroomed trails. Well, if you have ever ridden a snowmobile - you can understand my pain. Owwww, I really hurt - up there............ ;o(

I bought lots of sportsbras, but none of them worked very well. This was back in 1998, and there were not a lot of sport bras at all way back then. I ended up designing a bra the way I wanted one (not the way a male designer wanted to do it).

First off, I wanted a front opening sportbra, so I didn't have to wrestle out of it after a hot sweaty work out - ya' know what I mean? !!
I didn't like small cutesy straps that cut into my shoulders when I did high impact activities, so the Bounce Free! has wide, padded straps.

Tired of wearing two and three sportsbras that just rode around and chafed, and didn't work any better than one did - I designed the Bounce Free with three layers of material over the breasts ! Unique! The cup on the inside shapes and gives natural support. The outer two layers give you the ultimate amount of lift and control.

The outer layer is attached to the shoulder with Velcro, so it is fully adjustable. Imagine that ! ONE sportsbra for ALL the activities you want to do. (not the way the male designers at the big companies want - they make lots of SKU's so we have to buy lots of different bras for all our activities. - I've HAD this conversation with them.) They think women who do low impact activities don't do high impact activities. Well, I told 'em - "I do BOTH", and I bet a LOT of you gals do too. Just yoga and then kick boxing., for an example. Lunging your horse, then getting on and jumping jumps in cross country. Etc Etc.

Designed by a woman - for women.

Long story - short, I ended up with a California designer who set me up with a major lingerie manufacturer, and as he said to me "Now you're in business Girl". Check out our website: www.Esportsbra.com

Come back and check - we now have plus size sportsbra to fit 46 DD, 48 DD and 50 DDD. Also check, we may be doing more Hawaiian print Bounce Free! sport bras for the summer.

Byeeee for now.
Penny Jo
